Quantico Shooting Club is located aboard Marine Corps
Base, Quantico just off of Interstate 95 in Virginia, 36 miles
south of Washington D.C. and 20 miles north of Fredericksburg.
From
I-95, take Exit 148 and travel West. After traveling 3/4 of a mile
you will see a military police checkpoint. Have
your indentification ready as you will need to present it to the guard
at the gate. Marine sentries will assist visitors arriving at
the base; visitors are issued vehicle passes and given directions to
their destination. Proper identification, such as a state driver's license,
is required to get onto base.
Inform the Marine sentry that you wish to go to the Quantico Shooting
Club. (Ensure your firearms and magazines are unloaded and properly stored).
After proceeding throught the checkpoint, continue on MCB-1 for approximately
3 miles (you will pass a supply point on the right and a fire station
on the left). You will see the Quantico Shooting Club sign and the clubhouse
on your right.
The two airports closest to MCB Quantico are Washington Dulles International
(IAD), located in Centerville, Va., and Ronald Reagan Washington National
(DCA), in Washington, D.C.
